This test is intended exclusively for the candidates applying for immigration at the Quebec Immigration Office who need to prove their knowledge of French.
The exam consists of four subsections: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and oral expression. It is also possible to pass this exam completely or partially by choosing one or more competences mentioned above.

The certificate is valid for 2 years.
